Building Services Contractors (BSC) has been representing New Zealand’s building services contractors and promoting excellence in the industry for more than 50 years.
Our members range from sole operators to multi-national companies, including all New Zealand’s major contractors, and provide a diverse range of services from cleaning to grounds maintenance, security, rubbish removal and document destruction.
Only a BSC member can be a Registered Building Services Contractor. Customers can be confident that they are employing a reputable contractor who has met our strict minimum entrance criteria and agreed to abide by our strict Code of Practice.
BSC members are also all signatories to the Principles for a Sustainable Property Services Industry Agreement, committed to providing a good service based on fair contracting principles and using staff who enjoy fair pay and conditions.
Our members can access wide-ranging advice regarding industrial relations and employment or technical issues, as well as many other benefits and savings.
We advocate on behalf of the industry and represent it in negotiations with Government, unions and other organisations.
We keep members updated with any industry developments, provide networking, education and conference opportunities and oversee industry training through the BSCITO.
We also promote the industry’s vital role in providing healthy environments and the whole of life benefits to building owners of using a Registered Building Services Contractor.
See our "join us" page for more details about member services and how to join.
